I'm from Ohio but I'm like 5mins from Point Pleasant so when I looked for a local board I thought, hmmm, WV or OH. I checked out Ohio and the closest is Columbus which is ummm 2+hrs away, so I checked here...people are closer but there's not many of us.
So let's do a check in.

I'm Andrea, I'm from Gallipolis, Ohio, but like I said, I'm closer to WV than any OH local boards. I have an almost 2yr old daughter, Brittyn, and we're looking to TTC again soon. I frequent the Huntington Mall (and Target) and Pullman Square often. I love me some Hibachi's, the old one, NOT the new one. I'm a SAHM with a budding photog business on the side: afsphotos.blogspot.com. And I'm REALLY bored today, in case you couldn't tell.
I think I'll frequent this board a little more and try to get things poppin'.

Hi, my name is Holly and I live in WV. I don't check this board too often b/c its always so dead. Andrea, I'm glad you are trying to stir things up a little.
I currently live in Weirton, WV (northern panhandle) but the Huntington/Barboursville area is very near & dear to my heart. My husband and I both went to Marshall and had a great time there. We come back to Huntington frequently to visit friends and watch MU football games. I think Pullman Square has done a lot for Huntington and it seems like a really nice place to hangout...especially in the summer. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Hibachi on 4th ave. It is the BEST japanese steakhouse I've ever been to. I keep trying to find one in the Pittsburgh area that is as good but nothing seems to compare. Also, I must eat at Rio Grande everytime I'm in Huntington.
I hope to hear from more WV knotties!
I'll bite. I'm from the Charleston area, but I did get married in Huntington last year. DH and I aren't TTC yet, but probably will be in the next year. I'm a teacher and DH is finishing up his Phys Ed degree.

I am Suzanne. I am located in Clarksburg. We are renovating a house from the 1900's. I do a lot of volunteering and my husband has a photography business that he does on the side. It seems like everyone is getting into photography.
Hi, I am Andrea! We live in Smithers. We have a gorgeous 16 1/2 month old daughter named Emily. We also have handsome twin boys, Dylan and Ayden, that are 3 1/2 weeks old. The boys decided that they wanted to come 12 weeks early. They were born on April Fool's Day, and wasn't due until June 25, so they are in NICU at Women and Children's. I can't wait for them to get to to come home!!

I am a recent newlywed (April 4, 2009) and I live in Charleston. I am not trying to get used to being married and not planning a, wedding! I love to be crafy (I'm not the best, but I'm getting better!) I also love to cook and bake. We are TTC yet, we hope to start after our 1 year anniversary!

Hello there! I'm Rachael, my DH and I just got married July 5th, and this is my first venture onto the nest. I'm not sure how I like it yet, but you ladies seem very nice! I live in the eastern panhandle of WV, which is really close to DC and Baltimore, but not close enough to join either of those two boards! We're not TTC yet, but if it happens it happens!

Hey asned! I'm in Putnam County (Eleanor) and have been there about 5 years. I have a 2.5 year old little girl, Maddie. Time will only tell if we TTC again; DD is a doll and also very high spirited. I LOVE the Huntington Mall, and do not get down there enough.
I spend most of my time on the parenting board (hence why I recognize you); so I rarely remember to come here. It would be great to get this board moving!
I just moved to Morgantown WV... not sure how far away that is from Point Pleasant...

i'm from barboursville, wv.. i'm a senior business marketing/management major at marshall university. i'm hoping to graduate december 2011. my husband is a health/phys ed teacher at a local high school. we're aren't TTC yet.. we'll consider it more seriously after i graduate. until then, we have 3 doggies that keep us very busy and entertained haha
