Hello everyone! Hope you all had a relaxing FUN Labor Day.
The BEST date I've ever been on....probably the first date with my now DH. He picked me up from work, we went out for dinner, then he came to my church with me to watch our Easter choir celebration. He met my family....which thinking about it now must have been quite overwhelming! But we had SO much fun. It was hard to choose, as recently (in February) DH surprised me with a trip to Portland, where we got to see Rockstar:Supernova in concert! Awesome!

My first date with hubby lasted over a week! hehe
It was the best date ever. We had been penpals for 7 years and had fallen in love. I flew to North Carolina from my school in San Diego to meet him for the first time, even though we'd already decided to be exclusive! It was in pre 9-11 days, so he was waiting for me at the gate. I walked right to him and we grabbed onto each other and never let go. There was never any moment that felt awkward. It wasn't like "Hi, I'm Amanda." It was like we'd never been apart. We spent the next week attempting to do "date things", like bowling for example. But we'd end up sitting in the parking lot for hours talking instead of actually going in! It was the happiest time of my life, besides our wedding day! To finally be able to be held by the man I love was the best date ever!!!
