QOTW: the obligatory question- what are you doing for the 4th?
Since my birthday is tomorrow (the 3rd) I feel like it is a more important day :-) so we are having a bbq. On the fourth (which everyone else tells me is important), we are going to our neighbors.
Also, see the Get Together post. I suggested next Thursday night but am waiting for input!

No real plans for the 4th, since we only get the one day off from work. We'll probably BBQ and watch the fireworks show that the high school behind our house puts on from our backyard.
Happy birthday, 2 hours early! Mine is on the 10th.

Happy belated birthday!
I had to work on the 4th, but only 6am to 1430. So I still had a bunch of the day to enjoy. My DH and I went over to a friend's house. Nothing too exciting! On a side note, I was wondering how my dog would do with the fireworks. It is the first 4th of July we've had with him, and I am happy to say the noises didn't faze him!

Our dog is still afraid to stay out in the backyard. The fireworks show was so noisy and she did not do well, even though we sealed up the house and had her with us the whole night. I feel bad for her.
