My grandmother just died

This is the first grandparent that I've lost.  We saw her yesterday and she looked bad, but I never thought it would be the last time.

Sorry to hear. Dealing with a loss is extremely hard.

I don' thave any grandparents left, and none were at my wedding. My wedding day, although extremely happy and exciting, was also difficult because I wasn't able to share it with any of my grandparents.

Stay strong. And take some time to be with your family.

Sorry for your loss. In a way not thinking it'd be the last time you saw her can make that memory more special. Because we're never truly prepared to lose a loved one and thinking "this could be the last time" can make those visits a lot sadder.
