Anyone deliver at St. Mary's Milwaukee?
If I want to do a vbac my OB wants me to go there. I really want the vbac but I live less than 5 minutes from the new Columbia Center in Mequon and it is sooooooo nice. I will probably go down to the Milwaukee campus and check it out but I wanted to see if any of you have any input on the birthing center there.

I delievered the twins at Columbia/St Marys downtown. I had to because I was considered high risk with the twins. I loved it. It's not fancy like Mequon but the nurses and Drs there were amazing. The staff was incredible and I would not have gone anywhere else except maybe Froedtert. Again.....not fancy but I needed the high risk.

I delivered there. I remember not being too impressed with the facilities during the hospital tour. I wanted to do a natural birth and they don't have a ton available. The rooms also seemed really small and a bit outdated.
My labor and recovery were wonderful there. My l&d nurse was absolutely amazing as was the resident who checked in with me. I also spent two separate nights there before I had DS due to pre-e and those nurses were also wonderful. Definitely not the nicest hospital, but the care was great.
