DH and I would like to get away for one night this weekend. Any ideas of somewhere fun we can go overnight that isn't too far away? He doesn't want to drive hours or too far. We have only lived here a few years now, so I am absolutely clueless when it comes to Indiana.
Are any of my Indy girls online and have any ideas for us? He will be home in a few hours and I have come up with nothing!
Re: Weekend getaway ideas?
French Lick/West Baden. They have the hotel and there's a winery there that I personally love, but DH and I are winery people.
New Harmony is close to Evansville and it's a cute little touristy town. They have some adorable bed and breakfasts there.
Those are both in southern Indiana though, so I don't know how far is "too far".
Hope you find a place!

Well we were going to head to Nashville IN and check out all the stores and stay the night up there, but I just realized awhile ago it's going to be heavy rain tomorrow. Maybe another day I guess.... DH is asleep so he doesn't know about the rain yet. Will see what he says in the AM.
Thanks girls for all the ideas!
