The way I look at it, at least we've won a game this season. How long did it take us to win a game last season? More than the 3rd game.
I am uber impressed with Edwin Jackson. Not quite so much with some of our relief. Like Dontrelle Willis. They had best keep him on the DL. What a disaster.

I hate those kind of comments- and I have gotten PLENTY of them since my Yanks lost their 1st two games this season. LOL
I remind people that there are 162 games- it's a looooong season. And I tell them to check back with me at the All-Star break when we really have an idea of how well/poorly any particular team is doing!
I hate comments like that, too. 3 or 4 games into the season means absolutely nothing.
Now, I will admit that it's a little discouraging to see my team (Indians) open the season 0-3. But I'm not suddenly going to start wondering what's wrong with them...I'm just wondering when they'll finish shaking off the cobwebs and realize that it's regular season play now.

Here the Pirates win 3 or 4 in the begining and people start talking World Series..(they are a hopeful bunch these pirate fans). Too bad the Pirates seem to?disappoint. ?
That 15-2 is a great score.
As for the win-loss on the season, I could see if it was football where they only play 16 games wondering what is up, and with the Lions is has come to be expected around here that they won't do great.
I am hoping that the Tigers can do well this season because they are the home team and my favorite, if they don't I am not going to gripe about it either though.

2012 Reading Challenge
My cousin is the same way. We were talking on facebook the other day, and she asked me how the tigers were doing. This was the night we won the game at Toronto. I told her that they were 0-2. She made the comment about "typical Tigers." I was like "you do realize that they went to the World Series in '06, right?" She seemed kinda stumped by that. They aren't that bad. Obviously she had no idea what she was talking about. Pretty much just repeating what other people say.
