Blonde moment of the day...

I felt so dumb today.  After work, I was walking towards my truck, and clicking my keyless entry remote to unlock the doors.  When I got to the truck, I couldn't open the doors because they were still locked.  I started to freak out because my remote wasn't working, and I didn't know how I was going to get home.  I though about calling DH, so he could bring my extra set of keys, but since I work in Tx, which is 45 minutes away, with an hour time difference, I decided to come up with a plan of my own.  After about five minutes of standing outside my truck trying to figure out how I was going to get in, I realized that those keys hanging from my keychain do serve a purpose to vehicles...DUH!!

Re: Blonde moment of the day...

  • Oh that is CLASSIC!!!!!!

I gotta say I don't miss commuting an hour ( i did it for 2 years back in Ohio ) I bet the time difference is a pain!

  • The time difference can be a pain...especially when we have early morning meetings.  The good thing about the time change, is that I get home an hour early. :-)  I've been thinking about looking for a job in N.M., but I'm having a hard time deciding, because I really like the kids who I teach.

So how do you like Abq.?  I grew-up there, and I would love to move back.  Unfortunately, DH doesn't like Abq., so he would never consider moving there.  I live in a tiny cow town, and I have a hard time finding things to entertain me.  I especially miss the summers, because it seems like there was always something going on downtown.
  • I've been here a month and we are really enjoying it.  It's hard not knowing anyone so it's hard come weekends and such.  But we are loving the view!!!!!!
  • At least you were actually trying to open your own car. One of my coworkers drives the same car I do - we're always trying to open each others car.
  • Hahaha!  That's hilarious.

Don't feel bad though...I read your post twice and kept thinking to myself what is she talking about?  What purpose DO the keys serve?

Damn you Nest for screwing up my siggy!
