We went to Boston this past weekend to check out the big BRU stores and then the Baby Furniture Warehouse. I just couldn't see ordering the furniture online without seeing it first...All in all we got some good work done but didn't find the right baby furniture. We went to Kidstown in S. Burl. Monday and found just what we wanted...and got 2 pieces at 20% off and 2 piece at 30% off! And they are delivering it FREE next week! YAY for local stores!! : )

I love these two beautiful children!
Hi there - what sort of problems have you been having? I didn't have to order anything. The sale was on in stock items only for the Legacy Shaker collection since they aren't going to stock them anymore and are clearing out for another collection. I got the crib and changer for 20% off and then took the dresser off the floor for 30% off. They are supposed to be delivered tomorrow so we'll see. We're buying the mattress elsewhere b/c they jack up the prices on those... Also, I don't think I'm getting the glider there as they are more expensive then others but I still need to research some more. I really some Best Chairs that we saw in MA last weekend so I need to see if I can get a good price on those locally and if not, order through MA and pick it up next time we're down that way...
I hope that everything works out for you!
I would do a Target registry online but I would go to a store to see the stuff before adding it...but that's me. I felt very strongly about checking out the furniture myself before buying it too, hence Kidstown. I just ordered a Skiphop diaper bag online and it's not what I thought it would be and I don't love it. Same with many of the items at BRU that I thought I liked and then felt different about when I actually saw them...but I'm that kind of person so if you have had luck with online shopping, then go for it.
For what it's worth, I chose to do my registry at BRU just b/c their selection is so huge...but I went to Boston to do it b/c their stores are bigger.
