I just moved here (currently staying in a friends attic in Hinsdale while awaiting moving into our own place far from here) from Washington, the state. ( I say the state as I found that since I have come here if you say WA, it is always followed by an "Oh, D.C. it is so cool there..." Honestly, I wouldn't know. haha. In any case, I am "trying" to adjust to what I would call a complete culture shock and the loneliness of having left behind my ENTIRE family, friends, and my very first niece. Aside from all of that...I scrapbook, I have my camera with me every where I go (wouldn't want to miss the perfect photo-op) I blog--a lot, I like to read and I like to cook and clean, I have a 5 year old "soon to be" step-son, I was supposed to be married in Sept, but due to the relocation and FIs job, we will be marrying next summer, we are hoping to start TTCing once we are settled down and more into the groove of the New England lifestyle. I am in the process of overhauling our life and trying the semi-simplistic, and the more green lifestyle than we lived back home. Wish me luck! In any case, I look forward to getting to know some of you ladies better.
Re: Newbie
