Poll: for Burlington area ladies

Hi ladies!

Ok, so DH and I will be moving to the Burlington area in the spring. I am a nurse with OB/GYN and Dermatology  experience and wanted to start looking into the medical offices in the area, so when we move, I can get applying for jobs.

If you do not mind sharing-

1. Who is your OB/GYN or Dermatology doctor?
2. Where are they located?
3. How long have you been going to them?
3. Do you like him/her? Why/why not? And would you
    recommend them to a family/friend?

Thanks so much for your help!!
Melissa

Re: Poll: for Burlington area ladies

  • 1. Who is your OB/GYN or Dermatology doctor? Dr. Susan Smith 2. Where are they located? Women's Choice on Mansfield Ave next to Red Cross. Close to the Hospital in Burlington 3. How long have you been going to them? She was my Mother's OB when she was pregnant for me, so when I turned 17 I went to her and have been going there ever since, so about 9 years. 4. Do you like him/her? Why/why not? And would you recommend them to a family/friend? She is excellent. So friendly and very professional. I would and have recommended her to friends. I don't think she is taking new patients though unless there is a family connection. That is how I got in. Unfortunately, she is only a GYN, so when I get pregnant I will have to find an OB. She isn't the only one in the office, so I am sure she will have someone to recommend me to in the same practice. Good Luck looking for jobs. I am sure you will find something!

  • I used to live in Burlington for 8 years. I am nurse and worked in various office/hospital settings there. These are the offices I have worked at : Champlain OB/GYN- Dr. Jertsen is who I would rec. personally.  Thomas Chittenden Health Ctr- a family practice office which does do OB/GYN- I worked for Dr. Theriault- all of them are great though. Also, Fletcher Allen has many outpatient offices- most located at the hospital- I have had excellant personal and proffesional experiences there.  My DH was an anesthesia resident there and has only good things to say.  Hope that helps.
  • 1. Here is the website for my obgyn http://www.maitriobgyn.com/. They are amazing. I have just started going there (since I got pregnant) and I already love them!
    2. Right across from the hospital.
    3. Just a few months..... but they came HIGHLY reccomeded by tons of people.
    4. I already love them b/c they are great listeners! I have called 100 times with silly pregnancy questions and they always make time for me. They really appreciate what DH and I want for our birth/baby.

    Good luck! :)
