Another poll: Shopping

In honor of the the living in VT poll, here's another one about shopping.

What is your favorite store to shop at for:
1. Groceries
2. Clothes
3. Home Improvement
4. Funiture or other specialty goods

Also, which store(s) do you avoid like the plague and why?

Me:
1. Price Chopper b/c it's the closest and therefore easiest.
2. Macy's?  I haven't done much of this here yet but that's where I usually shop.
3. Home Depot
4. I've loved the Pompanoosuc Home store, even if I can't afford most of it...  I also like most of the things at Tempo.

And I usually avoid wal-mart like the plague...

Re: Another poll: Shopping

  • What is your favorite store to shop at for: 1. Groceries Hannaford in South Burlington, Dorset Street - It is convienent for us because it is on the way home. 2. Clothes AE, Gap, Ann Taylor Loft 3. Home Improvement Home Depot, but will be switching to Loews once we get one. 4. Funiture or other specialty goods I am actually looking at a few things at Ashley because it is what we can afford, but a lot of times I feel like it is all overpriced. I love Home Goods and buy stuff there mostly. We registered at Pottery Barn and I love pretty much everything in there, so when I splurge I go there. Also, which store(s) do you avoid like the plague and why? Walmart!

  • What is your favorite store to shop at for:

    1. Groceries
I hate the Price Chopper here, which is lame because they have the most stuff.. they are just so unprofessional... so I shop at the Shaws

    2. Clothes
GAP,AE, Old Navy, Ecco, Hollister, A&F, JCrew, Maurices

    3. Home Improvement
We don't have any major chain stores in the NEK< so we go to Pick and Shovel... when we're on the other side of the state we use Home Depot

    4. Funiture or other specialty goods

I love the shelves from Pottery Barn... and we have the most amazing dining room table from Ethan Allen

Also, which store(s) do you avoid like the plague and why?

I'm royally unimpressed with the quality of the clothing at Macy's and refuseto buy anything other than shoes, makeup and perfume there...
