went to L&D last night
Had a little scare. I was having contraction every 10-12 minutes for a couple of hours. When ever they happened it was hard to breathe and my heart would race. I called the dr but after laying down for almost an hour it wasn't stopping so we went to the hospital. Fortunately, all checked out well and hopefully we won't have to be back there from another 8 weeks or so.
So now I am tired and at work! This little girl is already causing me grief!
Re: went to L&D last night
I'm glad to hear everything's OK!!
Hold on a little bit longer, baby girl!
BLEH!!!
I almost went the other day, it's a scary feeling!
Glad that everything is OK!!!
Good to know she held out until 38 weeks!!
Thanks ladies.
The LD nurse at SACH was great, she really helped me out and made me feel better. I guess it is pretty normal but I was a little nervous about it all.
Glad everything was ok!
I had a scare this week too. I fell on Tuesday. I wanted to surprise DH by taking out the garbage for him. I stepped on the curb, lost my footing and all my weight landed on my left knee. I started feeling crampy and some mild contractions for the rest of the night. The baby was constantly moving too, for about 3 hours. Fortunately, we had our prepared childbirth class that night, so I asked the nurse about it and she checked me out with the fetal heart monitor. Everything was ok and by morning I felt "normal" again.
I'm so glad everything went ok. And yes, our SACH nurses are great!!
I'm glad you are doing alright too.
Thanks, I am.
