I noticed that you're from Akron...I grew up there (and now live near Seattle).  I'm assuming from your siggy pic that you're a LeBron fan.  Any chance you're an Indians fan, too?

Re: **MyValentine

  • Hi Avila!

I'm an all-around Cleveland fan and, of course, follow OSU and even some of the Cinci teams.  I have to admit that when it comes to baseball I'm more of a stadium fan than someone that watches every game on TV like I do basketball.  I did listen to the home opener yesterday and it looked like we were going to win one, but I guess not!

I am THRILLED that the Cavs clinched top seed in the East!  I've been a Browns fan since the early 80s and it has been disappoinment after disappointment.  Finally, Cleveland has a shot at a championship!

Do you still follow Ohio sports or have you adopted some Seattle teams?

  • Baseball's my big sport, so I definitely still follow the Indians.  DH was nice enough this year to agree to get the MLB Extra Innings package so I can watch the games (instead of just checking online).  It would really be nice to watch a win one of these days.  Smile

I do attempt to follow the other Ohio sports, too, but not a lot of games are shown nationally.  I haven't lived in Seattle long enough to adopt any of the teams out here (we just moved here in October), but before here, I lived in Colorado for 8 years, so I adopted most of the Denver teams.  But if it ever comes to Denver vs. Cleveland, I cheer for Cleveland.

My brother's not happy with me that I've become a Broncos fan (still holding a grudge from the 80s playoffs), but like I said, it's not like I usually have the option of watching the Browns play.  Smile
