Parks with Springs and a Trail
Anyone want to recommend a park with good springs for diving AND a good trail for running or hiking?
My DH and some of our friends want to do diving together, but that's not really my thing, so I'd like to find a park that would be fun to go run at, too.
TIA!
Re: Parks with Springs and a Trail
If I am not mistaken, Wikiwa State Park in Apopka has both hiking trails as well as springs.
Good luck!
And there's also Rock Springs (also in Apopka I think?) which I think has prettier rocks and areas for diving. They also do tubing there.
And Blue Springs. But I haven't been there since I was a kid so I don't remember much about it. I'm sure you could probably look up more info about these parks on the web.
I am pretty sure Wekiva/Wekiwa does not allow diving anymore. They put like bars or something so you can dive into the springs.

I think Rock Springs is closed. If it's not closed, I don't think they allow diving there anymore.....
Blue Springs up near Ocala, They have a big hole where they used to teach scuba diving classes up there.
