Corporate 5K

Anyone running in the Corporate 5K downtown this Thursday? Or have you run this race in the past?

This will be my first time participating (and only my second race ever), and it sounds like this one is going to be a HUGE event and lots of fun.

I just saw the signs for it this Friday night when I went out downtown. I have never done it before but it looks like it's going to be fun!! I have to visit Track Shack's website more often to get updates.

I used to head this up at the last company I worked for.  It is a lot of fun and there are a ton of people of all fitness levels.  It's a great place to network too!  Good Luck!

I am running in it this year with my company. From what I heard it's a lot of fun, plus the free beer you get w/ your registration isn't a bad idea. It seems like a pretty big event, my company gets a tent every year for an after party. It sounds more like a fun, social run than a serious race. Just a fun way to blow off steam w/ co workers

My company is doing this race too on thursday night. I've never done it but it sounds like a lot of fun!

It seemed like almost everyone in my company went...our building was a ghost town this afternoon!
