Poll: Vacation Get Away

If you were looking to go for a 4 or 5 day vacation to someplace warm, where would you go?

If it's to relax, I'd go back to Turks.  There wasn't a lot to do when we went, it was just really low key and relaxing.

If it's an inexpensive need to get away, my choice is always the Gulf Coast of Florida.  Plenty to do, not so expensive, the beaches are awesome and the gulf is blue and clear.

Hmmm...if it was just 4-5 days I'd probably stay in the US.  Maybe Miami, Myrtle Beach, Key West?

Or if you're thinking about islands...Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, St. Thomas...

Without kids?  Probably Playa del Carmen or Anguilla.  Or maybe Little Palm Island. Sigh. . .those vacations are over for a while. . .

Key West.  We went last May for 4 days and it was one of the best vacations we've ever taken.  Loved it.

Key West is a good idea.

Cancun's s good option too, flight's short.

Kid-free, just relaxing & drinking umbrella drinks & beer:  Anguilla (via JetBlue direct to St. Maarten)

Kid-free, with less beach & more activity:  Key West or Vegas.

Anguilla, hands down.  So beautiful and relaxing.  And you can get over to St. Martin really easily if you want more excitement/shopping.

I would go to Puerto Rico. I love going to Old San Juan and walking around the forts and shops. Also, it's a direct flight...I love that. : )

Well I'm headed to Puerto Vallarta for 5 nights on Friday.  It was very inexpensive so I'd suggest that if you don't mind flying.
