Unfinished furniture?
I used to live in a city that had a few stores where you could buy unfinished furniture & stain it or paint it yourself. It was a nice way to save a little bit of money.
Is there any place like that in STL? I'm in the O'Fallon, MO area, but I'd be willing to drive if the price is right. I am trying to furnish a playroom but can't seem to find anything I like that isn't going to cost me a fortune!

Im not sure where in O'Fallon you live, but there is one in the North end. I can not remember the name. It's in an older plaza behind Sonic. My husband has gotten some really nice stuff there.
