My boss had a massive heart attack and died last night at his daughter's soccer practice. He was in his mid 40's and has a wife and two daughters, age 14 & 10. Things are still very up in the air and such a shock. We all feel so bad for his family. This is the same thing that happened to my uncle just before I got married. It is just so shocking and hard to imagine. I still expect him to walk down the hall and into his office any minute. Please say a prayer for his family as this will be an extremely difficult time for them.
Thanks for listening (or reading).
Re: My boss died last night
WOW. That is so scary and sad.
I'm so sorry for his family and friends.
That is really so sad. My heart breaks for his family -- their lives will be forever different.
That is really sad!
Wow, that's scary/sad!! I'll be thinking of those girls and his wife.
Gosh that is so sad! He was so young and so are his kids.
I'm so sorry.
I will pray for their family!
I totally understand how you feel. In 1998 my boss and his wife went to Florida for the wkd for his niece Batmitzva (sp...sorry). Just as she started, he had a massive stroke! Yep...right in front of his wife, parents, family etc.
He was late 40's and had just had a FULL physical where they gave him a clean bill of health. He was in a coma for 6 days till his wife had to make 'the big decision'...right in the middle of a hurricane incoming! ..he was on the last flight out of Florida.
It's tough and for almost a year I expected him to walk in or call etc.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family and you!
((((hugs)))))
