I can't go to the movies..

Because I am a vieja! I don't know if its stress or lack of sleep or a little bit of both but i cannot seem to stay awake at the movies. We hardly ever go to the movies anymore but when we do I go straight to sleep as soon as the lights dim. :(

Re: I can't go to the movies..

  • u're not alone!!! it totally happens to me.  and if i'm home, anything past 8:30ish I will not finish watching it.
  • Girl, that has been happening to me for the past 7 yrs!  Dh hates to go w/ me to the movies for that very reason.  The only way I stay awake is if we attend an early show (8-9pm).  LOL

The same thing happens to me at home when we rent movies.  I end up watching most of it the next day alone.

  • Lol I forgot to mention in the post that this weekend I feel asleep at fast and the furious and a couple of friends of hours were making fun of me. I cant stay awake!

I guess its good to know that I am not the only one :)

  • That was supposed to be a great movie too. That sucks that you fall asleep. I wish I could fall asleep with a movie or TV on, I am too nosy and have to know whats going on I can't just listen to something and fall asleep.
  • It's probably been over a year since we've seen a movie in the theaters because I fall asleep, too. And actually I can hardly make it through movies at home, either... but at least it's not in a public place :)

I'm glad I'm not the only one either!

  • LOL that is funny. I fall asleep at home all the time. Oh well
  • It has happened to me in the Theater when it's a movie I'm not particularly into... but at home, it happens quite frequently... lol! I have to be really into what I'm watching to not fall asleep half way through it...

It's probably cause you're tired, and lead a very active life...
