Ugh, it is really not at all aesthetically pleasing.  Doesn't anyone preview these things before the load it up for everyone to use?

I like it.  I really like that you can see when people joined.

 I also like the view count and that it shows the person who started the post and who the last poster was.

It's growing on me. I like it much better on my home computer than on my work one. At least at home, I can see a division between the posts (couldn't at work - looked like oen long page of green). I think if they could just make it so you could sort the posts by creation date (not update date) that would be nice.

I still think there is too much crap on either side of the message area. I don't really think it is necessary to have every single local board listed since you are more likely only to go to your local board and then the specialty boards (money matters, etc) than you are another local board...

I actually like it. In fact, most message boards have similar set ups and The Nest was a little "behind the times." Its great they are now aligned with how most message boards are formatted. Yes, it will get some taking used to but do try to appreciate all the features that we have now and didn't have before!
