I have two pairs of identical boots, one in brown and one in black - i love them for work b/c they are dressy but also comfortable for my walk from the parking lot into my building. This morning i put on a pair of brown slacks and rummaged around in my closet for the brown pair of boots, pulled them on and raced out the door - quite proud of myself for how quickly i got ready.
Imagine my surprise just now when i looked down and realized that i'm wearing one brown shoe and one black.
classic.
Re: Want a chuckle?
Ha! I knew from "I have two identical pairs of boots" where this one was going!
sahm ~ toddler breastfeeder ~ cloth diaperer ~ baby wearer
I have done this many times.
Glad you were able to chuckle about it.
exactly! i'm in the office by 6:45, so i'm pretty amazed it doesnt happen more often

Holy cr_p! How are you functioning that early? I'm lucky if I roll out of bed when my alarm goes off at 7am. Today was 7:30 and I'm supposed to leave the house by 8 - oops! Someday I'll be as rockin' as you!
eh, i'm just used to it at this point. oh yeah, and my senile cat who's recently decided that 4:30am is breakfast time.
i just like having plenty of time in the afternoon/evening. plus, its an excuse to go to bed at 9:30/10 regularly

I'd rather start my work day earlier and get out earlier too. With this job I'm technically off at 4:30 but most days I'm here until at least 5.
I can't recall the last time I was in bed before midnight :-( well except of a few weeks ago when I had the flu. I've been staying up waayyy to late and I really don't like it.
