Has anyone stayed at The Borgata or The Water Club?
We're going sunday night and i'm not sure which place to book a room. Which has nicer/more luxurious rooms? I know they are affiliated and right next to eachother; just curious to know which one was better.
TIA!
Re: Has anyone stayed at The Borgata or The Water Club?
I have stayed @ the Borgata several times. It's nice -- the suites are REALLY nice -- but the regular rooms are good too. I wish the bathrooms were bigger and had a jacuzzi, the rooms we were in only had a shower, but it was a shower for 2 so it was huge.
I would assume the Water Club would be better just because its newer, but I could be wrong.
Was lurking and HAD to answer this question. I have stayed at both (several times). It depends on what you want, they are both fantastic! The beds are wonderful, the bathrooms are wonderful etc.. They both have the same basic layout. The water club is more colorful, the borgata is all white, the waterclub has a fully stocked mini bar and snacks in the room (that you have to pay for of course) and the borgata does not but it has a coffee maker and an empty fridge in the room. The water club has a flat screen tv on the wall with an on screen guide, the borgata has an armoire (not sure if that is how you spell it) with the tv inside it, no on screen guide. THe water club has a robe and slippers (you can take the slippers home with you) the borgata does not. The water club has an alarm clock in it with an ipod docking station, the borgata just has a regular old alarm clock.
They both have their quirks, my dad likes the borgata better cause of the coffee machine, my DH likes the mini bar at the water club.
Either of them would be a great night though. OH and the Water Club has a "passion kit" for sale in the room!
