Can you find out if there are any fancy, upscale, authentically Nashville restaurants in Nashville that they recommend? I still am looking for a giftcard for a place down there for Nina?s wedding.

For the record, I live about a block from Acorn and eat there all the time. Sometimes it's amazing; other times it is very mediocre.?
HUGE CONGRATS to my BFPB mdiblasi10 on her baby boy!!!
Did you see the LONG post where I replied on the WC board? I linked to a LOT of restaurants.
I just wasn't sure if you saw that post.
I totally agree about Acorn. In fact, we basically stopped going there because of that reason.
BTW, I think we live right near each other. LOL.
Oh, and another place is ?The Standard at the Smith House. I just went there tonight. It's an old home from the 1840s that has been restored. The overall vibe is really great. Great menu and wine list, too. ?

No WAY! ?I live behind Rumba!!!?
I feel the same way. DH and I went to Acorn for Valentine's Day and left kind of like "hum, so that was it?"
We went to Watermark for our anniversary in Sept. and liked it waaaayyyy better
LOL. Both places are just a few blocks from us - we live off of 31st (or Blakemore), towards Love Circle.
