Rugby?

Does anyone here watch or play rugby?  DH has played for about 13 years, so I've been watching since I met him (about 4 years ago).  I think it's an awesome sport to watch and be a part of.  I'd love for it to get bigger in the U.S.!!

My ex-boyfriend from college played rugby.  I enjoyed going to the games.  They are some seriously hardcore athletes!

I've watched it. I've had friends who played and referee'd. I keep saying I'd love to play myself.

 Maybe I should see if there's any rugby around here...

The only time that I've watched it was on my honeymoon, we were in Paris at the time of the Rugby World Cup.  I had never watched rugby before but I really really liked it.  If I ever see it on tv I would definitely watch it.

my sister played in college.  she broke her nose a few times and broke a few girls legs.  crazy!

My brother plays for the University of Delaware. After he graduates he's moving to the Baltimore area where he can join a local team and keep on my playing. Of course my parents aren't happy because he tore his ACL last summer playing rugby.

I played in college, and I have missed playing every single day since then!  I adore rugby, it was so much fun to play.  The sport is such a bond among players, and it has so many traditions that go with it.  It's great.  I had a few concussions and broke my nose a few times, a torn MCL, and a lot of cuts and bruises all the time, but nothing was too severe.  The worst injury my team ever had was a girl broke her sternum, but that was by far the worst.
