Do you hold grudges?

DH isn't nearly as into watching sports as I am, and he thinks it's funny how I hold grudges against various teams and players.  Maybe it's partially because as an Indians fan, I have lots of teams and players to hold grudges against. 

I'm always happy to see the Braves lose (after the '95 WS), and I really dislike the Marlins (after the '97 WS).  Most of my dislike for the Yankees comes from various losses to them in playoff games.  And I still blame Jose Mesa specifically for costing me a WS title after blowing the save in the 9th inning of game 7 in '97. 

I'm not sure why I don't hate the Red Sox after the '07 ALCS.

Yes I do. But my hate for the Avalanche has slowly diminished because they are just so awful! and I love when the Wings or Tigers beat up on Chicago and St. Louis so I can trash talk with Dh's cousins.  I also can't stand the Yankees and hope they miss the playoffs again this year!

Oh yeah.  I still can't stand Mike Hampton because I really don't believe he tried as hard as he could have while he was with us.

I hate Chipper Jones and most of the Braves because well, they're the Braves.  The Yankees are a given because of fan bylaws.  The Marlins are making their way up the list as well, mostly because I was there last September shouting "OFF THE FIELD" for the final game at Shea.

VERY much so. I will ALWAYS hate the Red Sox, Patriots & Packers. I hate a lot of players for a wide variety of reasons lol.

I will never forgive Ohio State for stealing UM's sixth national championship on a bad call in 2002. Never. Freaking HATE Ohio State. HATE the Buckeyes with a passion.

And I'm no Doug Flutie fan either. Gah, I get so sick of watching any and all "upset" stories because inevitably, that damn pass against my Canes is in there. Awful, awful, awful.

Yes, definitely.  There are still several teams I can't stand from things that happened a long time ago.

Michigan St. basketball comes to mind especially for the players they had in the 90s.

Absolutely.  The name "Scott Norwood" can never be mentioned in my house, nor can "wide right".  I actually disliked the Giants for a while, since they took away the Bills' best chance for a Super Bowl win.  I let that go for DH's sake, especially since Big Blue ended up beating the Pats in the Super Bowl.

Same goes for the Cowboys, as well as Brian Cox from the Dolphins.  Oh, and the Dallas Stars.

Oh yes!  I'm a Cleveland fan and still hate the Broncos because they stood in the way of the Browns going to the Super Bowl way back in the '80s.  Don't even get me started on those damn Yankees!

Absolutely! Of course, the Yankees. When living in Boston I went to every Sox/Yanks series and will always chant "Yankees Suck!" I also can't stand the Devil Rays or the Angels. Moving on to football, the Colts and I am very tired of the Steelers.

As of now I can not stand anyone from Utah.  Even thought it was my team that basically rolled over for them I still can't stand them.

Along with the Cubs, Mike Hampton (can not stand him), Roy Oswalt, and Auburn, oh and Tennessee, and apparently my list could go on forever.

I am from Baltimore and basically the whole city still holds a grudge against the Colts, so yes, I do, lol.

Absolutely. I have quite a few actually. I detest the University of Alabama. I guess that really isn't a grudge thing but more an I'm an Auburn fan thing and even though I live in Auburn, there are a lot of Bama fans here and I absolutely can not stand them. I feel the same way about Duke and Oklahoma. I hold grudges against Notre Dame and Boston College. Always the Red Sox and the Yankees. Packers and Patriots too.
