When and where did you get married? Sept. 20, 2008 in a church in South Jersey
What was the weather like that day? Beautiful, sunny and breezy
What's the one thing about your wedding you'll always remember? The way my husband looked at me as I met him at the altar.
How long have you known your hubby? (Highschool sweethearts or fast romance) Since 2006, but we only dated for 6 months before getting engaged!
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? Atlantis in the Bahamas. I would totally recommend the lazy river ride there. Sooo relaxing.
What's your fave adult beverage? Wine - sauvignon blanc.
What nicknames have you gotten over the years? Gin, Ginny, Ginny-Pooh, V, VA, Virgin-ia
If you cook, what is your signature dish? (We have many culinarily-gifted Nesties here) Homemade pizza and a fantastic chicken tortilla soup.
Are you planning to move into a new place? (We have many Nesties who have recently purchased a home or are redecorating) We just purchased a home in October and desperately need to decorate it.
What's the one thing on your mind at the moment? Dinner and family.

Absolutely beautiful..a bit chilly with the biggest fullest moonWhat's the one thing about your wedding you'll always remember? My mother putting my bouquet by accident in the freezer which ended up killing the flowers. I had to use my tossing bouquet..LOL
How long have you known your hubby? ?It will be 4 years next monthIf you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? We did a cruise from Puerto Rico and stayed in Isla Verde for four more days..I highly recommend ziplining in the forestWhat's your fave adult beverage? When and where did you get married? May 19, 2007 in my hometown of Lafayette, LA
What was the weather like that day? Perfect. Sunny with a cool breeze.
What's the one thing about your wedding you'll always remember? How all of our good friends from all over the U.S. flew in for our wedding. I cried like a baby when I saw them all gathered in one place.
How long have you known your hubby? (Highschool sweethearts or fast romance) For a few years. We met at my first FSU football game.
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? We rented a three-story cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was perfect and I recommend visiting the city of Helen, hiking, and river rafting.
What's your fave adult beverage? Toasted Almond or Cosmo
What nicknames have you gotten over the years? Peanut (youngst of 17 grandchildren) and Claire Bear (a la Care Bears)
If you cook, what is your signature dish? (We have many culinarily-gifted Nesties here) There are a few that I've mastered over the years in my grandmother's kitchen: Chicken and Sausage Gumbo, Seafood Gumbo, Catfish Couvillion, Shrimp Creole, and Crawfish Etouffee.
Are you planning to move into a new place? (We have many Nesties who have recently purchased a home or are redecorating) Nope, won't move until I get a professorship next year.
What's the one thing on your mind at the moment? I have been slacking on the dissertation because I'm just not motivated at the moment. Also, my crockpot chili turned out awesome.

When and where did you get married? Well, I'm sure I'm way in the minority on this one b/c we're not married, yet. March 13, 2010 I'll officially be a "Mrs". Although I do consider myself a nestie because we've lived together for 1.5 years
How long have you known your hubby? High school sweethearts. Just celebrated 9 years together in March.
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? We're probably going to go on a cruise somewhere in the Caribbean... no other details yet though.
What's your fave adult beverage? Blue Moon (beer)
What nicknames have you gotten over the years? A lot of people just call me by my first initial, which is V, or some people call me ValGal (because my name is Valerie)
If you cook, what is your signature dish? (We have many culinarily-gifted Nesties here) I love to cook! But I don't have any signature dishes... yet
Are you planning to move into a new place? (We have many Nesties who have recently purchased a home or are redecorating) Yes! We're making the move from Tampa to Miami this summer. Can't wait!
What's the one thing on your mind at the moment? Definitely our move! and FI starting law school, and planning our wedding. (I guess that's actually 3 things on my mind at the moment!)

What was the weather like that day? It rained in the morning and then it was HOOOOOOT
What's the one thing about your wedding you'll always remember? DH almost passed out at the altar and the altar boys had to bring him a glass of water during communion instead of wine lol
How long have you known your hubby? (Highschool sweethearts or fast romance) Met him in 7th grade, were friends for a few years before we started dating at 22
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? We went to Oahu and Kauai. I recommend renting a jeep and driving around the islands! We found so many local fruit and food stands and met some awesome people
What's your fave adult beverage? vodka tonic with wedge of lime

When and where did you get married? October 5, 2007 in Champaign, Illinois
What was the weather like that day? Sunny, but hot for that time of year in Illinois: mid 80s
What's the one thing about your wedding you'll always remember? There are many, but the sweetest was finally being able to think of DH as my husband
How long have you known your hubby? (Highschool sweethearts or fast romance) Almost 7 years
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? We didn't have much money to spend, or much time to take off, so we headed to southern Illinois and spent a long weekend on their wine trail. I can't remember how many wineries there were, but we hit most of them. Not that I expect any nesties to head to southern Illinois (there's not much else to do there except drink wine), but our favorite winery was Owl Creek.
What's your fave adult beverage? Red wine
What nicknames have you gotten over the years? Mel, Miss Melis, Babe (from DH, of course)

If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? We went on a cruise to the Carribean. We went horseback riding in Turks & Caicos -- I would def recommend that, it's so beautiful.

When and where did you get married? July 7, 2007 in Miami/Coral Gables - my wedding was at Church of The Little Flower and the reception was at the Airport Hilton
What was the weather like that day? it was sunny during the day but there was a torrential downpour when we were trying to leave the church after pictures
What's the one thing about your wedding you'll always remember? the feeling i had when the church doors opened and i began to walk down the aisle
How long have you known your hubby? (Highschool sweethearts or fast romance) we knew "of" each other since high school, but we officially met in the Christmas season of 2003 and began dating on Memorial Day weekend of 2004
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? Grand Cayman...we wanted to do something very laid back and just bum out on the beach. We loved it...the beaches there are gorgeous.
What's your fave adult beverage? malbec (wine)

If you cook, what is your signature dish? (We have many culinarily-gifted Nesties here) pasta!!! my two specialties and DH's favorites are my fettucini with pink sauce and italian sausage and baked rigatoni w/ bechamel sauce

(We have many Nesties who have recently purchased a home or are redecorating) we were hoping to buy a house sometime soon, but now with this baby on the way, those plans are on the backburner for now. luckily we love our condo and we have 2 bedrooms, so we'll be fine for now. maybe by 2011-2012 or so we will be able to purchase our first house
What's the one thing on your mind at the moment? my little seedling baby and whether he's okay...i haven't had an ultrasound yet and that makes me really nervous. once i see him and know he's okay, i'll be a lot more relaxed.

When and where did you get married? 6/4/05 in Church of Little Flower in the Gables.
What was the weather like that day? Rained real early in the morning, and complete sunshine the rest of the day. And it later rained for the next 2 weeks. I had some luck!
What's the one thing about your wedding you'll always remember? The joy and happiness that filled the room. We had a very large wedding, and you can truly feel the joy everyone had for us.
How long have you known your hubby? (Highschool sweethearts or fast romance) College sweethearts. We went to same HS, but didn't meet until college. We've been together for almost 9 yrs
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? European cruise... we visited 10 cities in 12 days... hectic, but wouldn't change it one bit.
What's your fave adult beverage? Bacardi Limon with Sprite
What nicknames have you gotten over the years? Jackie, Jax, Jackelina (but only my uncle calls me the later)
If you cook, what is your signature dish? (We have many culinarily-gifted Nesties here) I'd say my sweet potato casserole, 4 leches, and fried rice.
Are you planning to move into a new place? (We have many Nesties who have recently purchased a home or are redecorating) I plan on retiring in my current home. However, if an amazing deal in an amazing neighborhood were to present itself, we'd def consider it.

What was the weather like that day? Unseasonally beautiful!! There was a blizzard the week before about 2 feet of snow. But on the day of it was 75 degrees and sunny!

How great it was to have everyone there!
How long have you known your hubby? (Highschool sweethearts or fast romance) 7 years. we met online. lol
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? Road trip, Niagara Falls, NYC, Ocean City, Md, and back to Pittsburgh.

What was the weather like that day? The weather was absolutely perfect! It was a little chilly but just right for the outdoor coctail hour.
What's the one thing about your wedding you'll always remember? Walking down the aisle. I wish I could do it all over again .
How long have you known your hubby? (Highschool sweethearts or fast romance) High school sweethearts. We dated for 7 years before we finally got married. It was about time! lol
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? We went on a cruise through Europe. It was so romantic and definitely an experience I will never forget. I highly reccomend!
What's your fave adult beverage? Bellinis and martinis!
What nicknames have you gotten over the years? JLo! Lol. My maiden name was Jennifer Lopez. so annoying lol.

After months of a drought, it finally rained that day. I had about an hour of pics outside, and the rest were done indoors. It was hot though, but we had planned to do everything indoors anyway.
See Josh for the first time. We had about 30 min together before we did pics, etc. Then when someone called me Mrs. for the first time ( I believe it was the photograher) it was crazy!
This July will be 6 years.

What was the weather like that day? Sunny in the 70's with a little bit of a breeze. Perfect.
What's the one thing about your wedding you'll always remember? The way he looked at me when he first saw me, and the way I felt at that moment.
How long have you known your hubby? (Highschool sweethearts or fast romance) We have been together for 7 years we started dating the weekend after we met.
If you honeymooned, where did you go and what would you recommend there? No where yet, his job is very demanding.
What's your fave adult beverage? Margaritas.
What nicknames have you gotten over the years? Little bit
If you cook, what is your signature dish? (We have many culinarily-gifted Nesties here) Red Beans and Rice or Gumbo. I'm a Louisiana Girl.
Are you planning to move into a new place? (We have many Nesties who have recently purchased a home or are redecorating) We bought her first home year before we got married.
What's the one thing on your mind at the moment? The weekend, I need a break.
