I guess I'm the only one who likes the new format?

I don't post very often, but much of the reason is because I hated the format of this board. To me, it's so much better when posts bump to the top after they get a new response, otherwise, posts from earlier in the day get buried, and if someone responds later in the day, the response never gets seen. I guess I'm in the minority, though?

In theory the feature is good...but with such an active board, its hard to follow during the day when we're all on. I liked how they just bolded when there was a new post in a post.

I like the "idea" of the new format.  I think the page is too busy though. I think the font size is too small, and the ads everywhere are too much. They are finally LEAPING into the 90s (ha-ha) and creating a more interactive discussion board.

However, I do like the new better PIP function, the quote function, and it actually follows a forum format, which I prefer.  If I could only get this page to show just THIS frame so I could ignore that other stuff.  Also, its kind of slow for me...I type a word and it comes up a bit later.

I don't mind it for what it is when I'm actively using the page. When I come home from work, it's difficult to just catch up since I don't have access at work. I went through 4 pages of older posts, then I feel bad bumping it up after it's already been discussed like 3 hours ago so I don't respond, when before I would have. Oh well.

I like the bump feature, too.

 

What I don't like, though, is that they don't have a user list at the bottom of the page (to show who is online).  I belong to a couple of other forums and I like that fact that you can see who else is signed in to the forum.

I like it too for the most part except I don't like how it bounces the posts around.  Just takes some getting used to though.

I don't mind it at all. I think there are some positive changes, and a few negative ones, but overall I'm happy with it. I'm not sure how I feel about the bumping. I like that posts that are popular don't get buried, but at the same time, I don't like that posts without a lot of responses do get buried very easily. If I want to page someone, unless they're on right at that moment, they'll probably never see it.
