did it cost for you guys to get your wedding dress cleaned??? I'm just trying to get some round-about figures so i'm not taken advantage of when I go to a leaners. Its been hanging on the back of my door and I need to clean it before I decide to preserve it or trash it

Re: How muchl...
Renea - I agree, everything for weddings is more than reality budgets... It's amazing how much you CAN spend if you just bought everything full price, etc. But, yeah, I think the $100 - $200 range is realistic. I want to get mine cleaned too, but that's a lota money. Anyone know how long you can safetly wait before getting it cleaned?
What about those companies they are alwasy advertising on the knot where you send your dress in?
The quotes I've gotten around here have been $200 and up just for cleaning. I'm also still trying to decide if I'll do a TTD shoot so, it would be silly to clean it before that.
If I decide not to do the TTD, I think I'll tear out all of the crinoline and underskirt layers and get it cleaned as a regular gown. I'm not going to preserve it anyway, just want to clean the fabric for use in christening outfits down the road.
