I might be moving to SC this summer...
Just wanted to say hello, I might be hanging out on this board soon if all goes well.....

I'm not a teacher, but my husbnd and I moved to Greenville in October and we love it here!
I will say that I have not heard excellent things about the public schools in Greenville... There are TONS of private schools, but they don't pay as well or have as good of benefits. Simpsonville which is just south of Greenville is supposed to have much better public schools so you may want to look there as well!
Hmm when I moved here everyone told me how bad the schools were and when we think about the cost of living, cost of homes, etc to certainly factor in the cost of sending our future children to private school. I must have been told that by 5 different people... but maybe they were comparing greenville schools to schools in the rest of the country, and not other schools in SC.
I DO know for sure that you don't want to be in Montaview or Berea.
