  • Amber,

I am glad you have a positive outlook on things.  You are going to find a much better job and be so much happier!  Good luck!

  • So sorry to hear.  Stay positive though!  I am not sure what area you are in, but FairfieldCountyjobs.com is a wonderful site!  Check it out.
  • Sorry to hear about your job but good for you being positive about it. What kind of work are you looking for?
  • Best of luck in your search!!!
  • I am in the insurance/surety bond field
  • Way to go being positive! Sounds like you have your job search all figured out. One thing I do is print out a list of who, when, what I have sent. That way I can follow up later. ")
  • I'm so sorry! I hope that it all works out for you.

  • Confused  Sorry to hear this.  I was sorta hoping for you that it was just some co-workers playing a prank on you.

That is great that you have already jumped into the jobsearch.  I'll be hitting the pavement myself soon.  Best of luck with your search.

  • Sorry to hear and best of luck.  Your best resources are your business contacts, use them!!!  If I wasn't PG I'd be on the job hunt, too, since I got laid off (again) in February.
  • I'm sorry to hear that. Best of luck with the job search. It's great that you are looking at this with a positive outlook!
  • Amber,
I am so sorry this is happening to you. Have you tried www.indeed.com it searches all the job search engines and you can weed out recruiters and placement agencies as well. Good luck in your search and try not get discouraged.

  • Sorry it happened, but good luck on your search!
  • What a hard blow! and they didn't even give you some time for it to sink in! I'm so sorry this happened to you, but it's so good that you have such a great attitude about it. I've always found that going directly to a company's website for their openings works best with a job search...so for instance, my husband was looking for work in the Insurance field and went to thehartford.com to search their openings and found something that way. I would target a bunch of different companies that you think would work with your experience and go directly to their websites. Good luck!
  • wishing you the best of luck on your seach
