Former student of mine in the news

He is such an amazing, sweet guy.  He works hard and despite all his pain and difficult condition, I never once heard him complain.  I remember they were fighting this battle with the insurance when he was my student 3 years ago.

If you feel compelled to help the family out in some way with the costs or even write a scathing letter to United Healthcare, I would be extremely grateful.  Thank you.

  • I tell you what....some days I really do hate insurance companies
  • They're about to show it again on the news. ?I hope things finally work out for him with this report. ?He's suffered for too long already.

  • I saw this on the news, last night, I think. Breaks my heart. Insurance companies can be so stupid sometimes.

  • what a heartbreaking story- i really hope putting this in the news will help that child get the surgery he needs, and the insurance company will see the light!
  • Well, there may be some good news to come out of this.....

My DH makes implants and dentures and is a collegue of the dentist in the article. He is going to call on Monday and talk to him and see what he can do. Hopefully, they can get some other doctors involved and get something moving. DH says he would do it for free. Yet another reason I married that man.....he has the biggest heart ever!

  • keep us posted about if that works out g2s- that would be awesome for the kid, and of your husband to do!!
