Oregon coast recs...dog friendly

We want to go to the  beach for the weekend (Fri and Sat) and bring our little dog...anyone have any hotel/condo/house recs? We dont really care what beach, just dont want to spend too much (not more than $350 total). Thanks!

Re: Oregon coast recs...dog friendly

  • Lots of places allow pets (for a fee); I'd just start googling lodging in the city you want to stay in and look them all over.  I think your biggest hurdle might be finding a vacancy three days before the weekend--pets or no pets.

I know that the Hallmark in Cannon Beach (and Newport) allows dogs.

  • We stayed at a place in Lincoln City over new years weekend that I *believe* was called the Looking Glass Inn. It is by Mo's and the beach next to it is actually a "dog beach".  They gave us bowls, towels & treats for the dog and only charged us an additional $10 per night to have him there.  We had a great room with a gas fireplace and I believe it was about $350 for 2 nights. They accept dogs of all sizes/breeds. We have a 65lb chocolate lab/am staff mix! :)

  • Also, check out www.dogfriendly.com This is a great website for us dog owners that have to take our dogs everywhere with us. Big Smile
