bridal shower- do i have to include the other BMs?

As MOH and the one hosting the bridal shower, do I have to include the other bridesmaids in decisions? I'm totally fine paying for it myself and planning it. Is there a law that says I need to include them? If they offer, I will graciously accept help, but wasn't going to reach out to them and tell them what I was planning otherwise.

The bride is coming into town on a specific date so the date of the shower is not negotiable.

I would at least give them a heads up in case they want to help.

I agree.  Just keep them updated on the plans so they are in the loop so they at least feel included, just don't ask for advice.  I would assume that most/all would then respond asking you what they could do and if you feel like it you could assign some specific tasks or take some money.

I'll probably have one of my assistants shoot it. I can't imagine trying to play host and shoot!

Let them know when it is, and accept the help if they offer.  But if you can do the whole thing yourself, I wouldn't really worry about trying to include them.  If they want to be included, they will let you know.
