First acupuncture appointment today!
I am so excited to get started on my acupuncture regimen. I have my first appointment this afternoon.
Anyone who has done this have any wisdom on what to expect the first visit?
Re: First acupuncture appointment today!
A friend is having accupuncture treatments and said that if you are stressed/tense there is a moment of pain when they put the needle in and then a feeling of heaviness. but once you are done the relaxation level you are at is phenomenal. Better than the best massage you ever got and it sticks with you longer. She's been trying to get me to go so it must be good!
And it's great to see you - you've been missed.
Hey Kelly! I tried it. I think I'm one of the few that hated it. I had a hard time staying still and I was so worried if I moved the wrong way a needle would pop out. I also wasn't a fan of this suction cup thing he put on my stomach that squeezed the jiggle. It was supposed to do help make me ovulate.
I hope you enjoy it! So many TTTC love it. If it goes well, maybe I'll give it another shot with a new accunpunturist. Let me know!
Awwww shucks! Thanks for the sweet words ladies. I have missed all of you as well. Its just better for me to be primarily off the board right now.
I will be checking in as I continue my journey through IVF. You ladies have been an amazing source of support for me and I would NEVER leave you hangin' :-)
Acupuncture was fabulous!
I'm jealous. I only had acupuncture twice as a "test dummy (no jokes) for a workshop I hosted in college. They only did my hand.
We do want deets....dish!
