Did Father Riley really say that?
Re: ***AWWWYEAH*****
OMG...Yes!
When I was on bedrest, hubby called to let him know that we hadn't been attending because I wasn't able to, etc. and we asked if he would come to our apartment to discuss the Baptism....and that's when he said it!
Funny....the day after Brendan was born, Charles gets a phone call from him and Father Riley goes "I have you down in my calendar to do a home visit tomorrow but haven't a clue why I'm calling???" LOL! That's why we ended up seeing him in person this past Saturday. It was actually a VERY pleasant visit which lasted 1 1/2hrs! He did say because we both had been previously married that it wasn't "good" because statistics were against us...nice.
Um..yeah, we totally ignored what he said.
I can tell you though that we tried our hardest but we couldn't convince him!
Oh yes, he's going to baptize Brendan!
I meant we tried to convince him that we weren't a statistic! LOL!
OHHH okay.
