OMG...Yes!

When I was on bedrest, hubby called to let him know that we hadn't been attending because I wasn't able to, etc. and we asked if he would come to our apartment to discuss the Baptism....and that's when he said it! 

Funny....the day after Brendan was born, Charles gets a phone call from him and Father Riley goes "I have you down in my calendar to do a home visit tomorrow but haven't a clue why I'm calling???" LOL!  That's why we ended up seeing him in person this past Saturday.  It was actually a VERY pleasant visit which lasted 1 1/2hrs!  He did say because we both had been previously married that it wasn't "good" because statistics were against us...nice.

oh and yes..he made the same comment in person on Saturday that he said on the phone to my husband.

OMG I can't believe he said that. Some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth shocks me but he is genuinley a great man. He is loosing his memory so that is probably why he called you. He told us the same story about 20 different times when we did our pre wedding meetings. Ignore what he says about statistics. It will work! You aren't a number

He's SUCH a great man and really on the ball as far as remembering basic information/recalling what was just said in our conversation.  We really did have a nice time chatting with him but lol at you saying that he repeated the same story!  I can totally see him doing that...the long term memory isn't quite there.

 I can tell you though that we tried our hardest but we couldn't convince him!
