So how was it at your first weekend of the new job???? Do you get to do people's makeup or just sell??? I wonder how much other women spend on make up compared to me lol

I actually get to put the makeup on them (which is scary) plus sell. I've only put makeup on one lady and she totally bought it from me too
I'm obviously still learning, like if I had to do a makeover, i'd be a nervous wreck doing that.
There are just soo many products that we have and for all types of skin too. And our stuff isn't cheap. My biggest sale this weekend was $145 and the girl bought foundation, pressed powder, lip gloss, mascara, and eye shadow. Which I guess really isn't all that bad. The mascara itself was $30 something (it's a new kind we have with the vibrating thing in it which lengthens, volumizes, seperates, and defines or something like that.)
I"m supposed to be going to a 2 day class (hopefully soon) and I'll learn alot from there PLUS get tons of free full size products (SQUEEE)!!! We have soo many things that I want. I love shimmery stuff and we have soo much of that. Also just the skin care stuff is amazing. I played with that alot this weekend.
We weren't too busy because of the dang weather, but I"m definitely having fun doing it. I could totally leave my job here and work for Estee Lauder (directly) for real. That would be a BLAST!
I wish our store was closer to you cause I'd totally have you come in and play with the makeups on you!! hehe
I love samples too!! When we get some more samples in I'll try to get you some (my mom says she has first dibs, hehe)
Yeah the other girls I work with are verrry nice. They are really crazy and act goofy, so that's always fun too!! They make the time go by quick when it's really dead.
