Did you see the fight Saturday?  Silva's fight was embarrassing.  It was painful to watch.

I didn't see it! We used to get the PPVs all the time, but now that they have them once a month, it's gotten too expensive to get them all.

I don't even want to talk about this. DH and I joined a bunch of friends in downtown Baltimore to watch the fight on Saturday at our normal bar. There was some Privateer Festival aka Pirate Day and none of the bars were carrying the fight. Needless to say, we didn't get to watch the fight and were super pissed about it.

We go to Buffalo Wild Wings to watch most of the fights.

Most of the card was great... except for the last fight.  gah.  I would have been PISSED if we would have paid for that.

I can't believe Liddell retired.  I mean, I can believe it because he choked the last two fights but it still sucks because he is part of the reason UFC blew up the way it did.

He needed to.  If he would have kept going he would have just ended up hurt.  It's just too bad he had to end it this way on two losses.

I don't know about not wanting to fight.  It's hard to fight someone who keeps turtling on their back.  His last fight was exactly the same though.

Well it wasn't just the two losses.  He lost 4 of the last 5 fights.  He was on his way out anyway.

I just think it had to be hard for him to step down.  I'm sure it was tough for Dana too since they're such close friends prior to the UFCs conception. 

Then again, Randy Couture retired and came back to fight again.  Umm, I think that lasted all of two fights.  Haha

I don't know about not wanting to fight.  It's hard to fight someone who keeps turtling on their back.  His last fight was exactly the same though.

Thats why I think he doesn't want to fight.  He isn't acting like the same fighter that destroyed Franklin, twice.  My H thinks that it is because he wants to box Roy Jones Jr and Dana won't let him while he is under contract.

What a disappointed fight with Silva.  He must have been so frustrated.
