Would you buy these?

Diaper cakes that is. I have made them for like, a million showers and its so easy to me. But I was on Craigslist and people are selling them there, and not to mention the ones on the Internet selling for like $150!!

I was pondering trying to make a couple and sell them for extra money, because it only takes me a little while to make one.

Just wondering if you guys think there is a market for them here. I am not trying to like, make full time $$ here, but maybe a little extra!

So, would you ever buy one? And how much would you pay? The materials for a large one would be about $50. It takes about 1.5 hours to make it for me.

 BTW- I am not trying to sell them to you, just want local opinions!

Maybe? I would just make one and take a pic of it and throw it out there on Craigslist for maybe $100 and see if you get any bites???

I don't quite understand what a diaper cake is... is it tasty? or is it made out of diapers.... i'm no longer pg, but I want to eat like I'm pg still and anything with sugar sounds good

I think it's a great idea!!! I've seen a few and they're so adorable AND useful! Being me, I think I'd like to make it myself and that would be half the fun, but a lot of people are too busy for stuff like this and they'd probably just prefer to order it, much like anything party thing.

Well, I wouldn't break down the door to get one, but then again, I am of barren uterus *poof of dust*.  If I was in charge of throwing a baby shower, I'd give it some thought. 

They don't spoil, so just make a nice one, put a pic on Craigslist and see what happens.  Or put it on E-Bay and find out what the fair market value of your diaper cakes would be (making them ship-ready, of course).

It isn't edible. It is a bunch of diapers rolled up and organized to make tiers ( like on a wedding cake) and then it has neat baby stuff hanging on the sides and all that jazz. It is nice for the mom cause ya can't have too many diapers, and it looks festive at the baby shower!

Thanks guys! I think I will make one and put it on Craigslist, or maybe ebay, and see what happens. You're right, it lasts forever, so who cares if it takes a while to sell!
