I just read your post about Ava and her weight.  If it makes you feel any better. M.J. weighed 20lbs and some oz. at his 12 month appt.  He went to the Dr.'s sometime in Feb b/c he had a cold and weighed 22 lbs 7 oz., so he gained 2lbs great right?  He had his 15 month appt on Friday which is really closer to 16 moths he weighed in at 22 lbs 8 oz.  He gained 1 ounce in two months.

I asked the Dr. about it because I was concerned.  I thought he would have gained at least another 1 or 2 pounds.  She said it's normal and once they hit about 8 months the rate of growth goes down tremendously.  I did tell her that M.J.  is an extremely picky eater, but I also think it may have to do with he's been getting molars and incisors for like months now.   We keep trying new foods with him, giving him lots of fruits and veggies.  But he's super picky.

His Dr. never talks percentiles, so I never know where he falls weight or height wise.  I think weight wise he is lighter but height taller (31"), but I'm not sure.
