New to the area

Hello...I was wondering if anyone could help me. My husband, 6 month baby and I are moving to the Daytona Beach area. We were thinking about either moving into a condo in Ponce Inlet or a house in Port Orange (waters edge) which area do you think would be better for kids/young couples? We are also looking for a good non-denominational Christian Church...any help would be great!

Re: New to the area

  • Hi! Welcome to Daytona! Personally, I like Port Orange area better. It's like a safe haven to get away from all the tourists. I live and grew up here in port orange and it's very family oriented. As for a church, I really like Crossroads off of clyde morris, however they are baptist so I guess that doesn't fall into the non-denominational thing. GL! Let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.Big Smile

  • Well, I live in Port Orange and in Water's Edge. Port Orange is a great place to raise a family and Water's Edge has a ton of kids living there.
  • Thanks so much...I appreciate your help...do you belong to any play groups?
  • Hello...does Water's Edge have community events? Is there a community pool/play area?
