My first Pilates core strength class
I have never felt like such a huge embarassing loser in my life. At one point, .when I was laying down, with my legs spread above my head and holding a giant inflatable ball I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror and I might rather be fat than let myself do that in public.
Overall, the class was pretty good - and my abs and thighs can feel it already. I think if I had more practice with the exercises I might be more coordinated with it. but I'll have to do a home video - when DH isn't home.
Re: My first Pilates core strength class
Good for you for taking a class! I used to feel that way when I first took yoga - so uncoordinated. But you will get the hang of it.
That reminds me of my first Tae Bo class. ?The whole class started kicking left and I kicked right! ?I kicked my roommate?!
?
That was the last class I went to. ?I am interested in pilates though, I need a jump start to losing the rest of this weight.

I've been wanting to try pilates but I think I might try it at home first
I tried pilates 2x and i really felt it the next day esp in my abs!
I get embarrased about how i look especially when it's a move that i can't do like sit up w/o using my hands so i stopped going but i really should try it again to get in shape for the summer
