Re: Garden pictures

  • ooo....that trailing rosemary looks very cool
  • yeah, I love the trailing rosemary. too cool! I've very jealous of your garden.

  • I really want to grow a rosemary topiary now.  wouldn't that be cool??

Let's see if my garden actually produces!  That would be amazing!

  • Love that cart!  Looks like something you'd see in Martha Stewart's magazine!

I know!  I thought so too!  I was so proud of J.T. for finding it and realizing its potential!

  • Awesome!! Thanks for sharing the pictures. I love gardening and cannot wait to start our own. We have a space picked out for a vegetable garden.

LOVE the rosemary. Let me know how your jalapenos do. When did you do the planting?

We started a wildflower garden back in November and it's all starting to bloom. If you're interested, I highly recommend poppies. We have about 4 dozen getting ready to bloom.

I planted probably 80% on March 22....so exactly a month ago.  I've had to replace a yellow bell pepper plant (remember those crazy strong winds we had probably 2 1/2 weeks ago?)

I've planted several tomato varieties, 3 bell pepper colors, jalapeno & serano peppers, spaghetti squash, butternut squash, asparagus, zucchini, and tons of herbs.  Everything is growing nicely so far. (And I've heard that small, hot peppers are very easy to grow)

Our "new to us" house had a raised garden in the back which I love.  Ignore the much needed landscaping in the yard.

  • Pretty!  We worked on ours this afternoon getting it all ready for planting, tonight we are going to finish it up.  Watch your lavender, this is a picture of ours that we planted two years ago, and it was as small as yours when we started, it has totally taken over!

  • wow!  that's precisely why I didn't plant mint lose in the garden.  thanks for the warning!
  • Oh the lavender looks gorgeous! But I am afraid we'll get overrun with lemon mint too. Actually with those poppies, that's what is taken over. The only thing is, it seems like the winds damage them pretty easily.

Wow so a month and you've already got stuff coming up! We REALLY want to plant several varieties of peppers, as we're pepper freaks. Great to hear everything is going so nicely! We had some damage to our plants too with those crazy strong winds and that random freeze a few weeks ago.

Keep sharing the picture, I love it!
