I gained 7 lbs in 4 weeks!!
I was doing really well with the weight gain until NOW. Oh well, I guess 7 lbs is better than 10 lbs, right?
I have a feeling Sam is going to be a BIG baby (and my ass is going to be a big baby, too). Mia was 8 lbs 9 oz. I'm willing to bet that Sam is going to be over 9 lbs.
Re: I gained 7 lbs in 4 weeks!!
They said that was probably my "spurt". That's a big spurt, though. It's almost 2 lbs a week.
If I keep that rate up, I'm going to have a lot of work to do after I have him.
If it makes you feel any better I had two big months...about 10 a piece. One around Xmas and another back in March after my grandmother passed away. Just had my sizing ultrasound Tuesday and they said my DC is already 6 1/2 pounds (should be about 5 at this point). They are predicting this one to be high 8s or low 9s...good thing is I won't be pushing this one out. Yeah for the c-section. My DS was 8lbs 12 oz though, so it is expected.
I also agree that my ass is having a baby as well....
Sorry that you found my 7lbs Melissa.
thanks Melissa! I ty to remind myself that gaining some weight during pg is normal. I was just trying to be careful because I was already up quite a few extra lbs before I got pg. After that +6 lb appoint my Dr. told me I should watch my juice and fruit intake. I think it as more likely all the cadbury eggs from Easter...lol
here's hoping it was just a growth spurt for us both!
