DH and I are looking to travel to the Mayan Riviera this summer. We are somewhat flexible on our travel dates -- ANY 5 nights/6 days during the second half of June, or the second half of July. There are a few specific resorts I'm interested in and would obviously like to find the best deal within my possible travel dates.
So, my question is, what is the best way to search for the best price at a specific resort within these time frames? Do I just have to go through each travel booking site and change the dates (seems like that will take forever!), or are there any travel sites that let you search for a set number of nights/days and find the best price within a longer time frame?
I hope that makes sense. Thanks for any help you can offer!
Re: XP: Best Search Method?
I just wanted to make a recommendation on a resort--we went last August to Royal Playa Del Carmen and LOVED it. It was really amazing. We did 5 nights and got a GREAT deal because it was "off season" (aka really hot and hurricane season-but it was sunny every day we were there!). I would think if you go in July you can find good deals for the same reason at other resorts.
I booked that through my TA, I can email you my TA's info if you want-she does all the work for you.
We went to The Royal for our HM and loved it as well! I wouldn't mind going back there, but I think we are going to try someplace new just to see what else it out there.
I actually have the travel agent who we booked our HM through working on this too, but I'm searching myself in the meantime until I see what she comes up with. I guess I'm a bit impatient (and bored at work, lol).
