Hi All - I am going to be there from May 1st to May 11th and would like to hit the malls and do some sightseeing. I will be around the Pendleton and Temucla areas so any suggestions around those parts would be awesome! TIA!

I am from Temecula
...and ironically, my DH is moving to DC in about a month. There are a ton of wineries in Temecula. South Coast, Ponte, Wilson Creek and Thornton are my favorites. There is also a great spa a little North of Temecula called Glen Ivy. It is outdoors and super nice. Defineitely something you will not find in the big city.
RE: Carlsbad Flower Fields. They are in the process of rotating some of the fields so the fields directly behind the Carlsbad Company Stores is just dirt right now. The south end of the field is still in bloom--you can see the american flag and the rainbow rows of ranunculus.
