Congrats on 25 weeks!

Just thought I'd share advice I give my clients that are dealing with edema/swelling: One thing that can help with swelling is going into deep water (i.e. a pool or lake) for a little while. The pressure helps your body reabsorb the excess fluid that can cause the edema (and then you can "release" it).

  • Might be worth a try if it gets any worse. I am now out on leave after seeing my doctor last night, so I am hoping being off my feet will help.

  • W had really swollen legs starting at about 34 weeks.  When she injured herself at 37 weeks and was on forced bed rest, they went almost back to normal in two days.

Hope your's recover at quickly as W's did!
