Birth Certificate

Hello!

Just wondering how to go about getting my baby's birth certificate. ?I had him two months ago and received his social security card. ?I thought the birth certificate would follow in the mail, so I'm wondering what I need to do. ?Thanks for any help!?

Re: Birth Certificate

  • Your town hall...and you have to pay a fee for it!  Sad

I still never got my son's.... he is 2.  But now that I had another kid I will get it.

  • My daughter was born 3 weeks ago, and I have not rec'd her social security card, but I did receive the information about getting her birth certificate.  I can either go to the office of vital statistics or to city hall.  They are supposed to have all the information on file.
  • you can go to your town hall (doesn't have to be the town where you delivered). ?i think it was $12? ?i didn't get it until i needed it in order to get him on a plane when he was 15 mos.
  • Thank you ladies!!!
