Moms, want to feel inadequate?
That a look at this. . . SOMEONE has a lot of time on her hands. . . .

I want to be more like this. Or do I? Let's face it, if my kid would eat 1/10 of this food, I'd be doing a victory dance.
Re: Moms, want to feel inadequate?
Oh My!!! & who really has the time for all that?????
Can some one make my lunch everyday like that?????
I know! I sent this to my friend and she wrote back -
"What 4 year old is eating falafelish pancakes? I'll tell you who - the kid who everyone's making fun of"
I had to LMAO at that.
Clearly, her toddler is not high maintenance or picky. I mean, the woman is grating multiple types of cheese (freshly grated in the mac & cheese recipe) and cutting up foods free hand into complex shapes.

I have to admit, I pack a bento box for DH every morning. They are Japanese lunchboxes and this original link is a Americanized version of the bento they send for children. You should see what Japanese moms do.

It isn't a lot of any of those foods, just a little bit of each.
Ummm, Henry loves falafel.... Seriously. He had it for dinner twice last week. But this kid also likes manchego & goat cheese!
And if I had time, I would love to do this for all of our lunches. She does say she's a SAHM, so that makes a world of difference. Even so, I do feel inadequate thinking about the lunch DS had today.
Holy crap!! She's supermom!!!! Who has time for that.. And what kid wouldn't make fun of her kid for eating like that?! SERIOUSLY!!!
PS. I'm seriously considering buying the laptop lunch container.

Angela I have to agree with your friend. As a first grade teacher I seriously could see this kid being made fun of. 18 out of 20 of my kids get hot lunch daily (free lunch). Not that I think it's "better" because clearly the lunches she makes are healthy and well-balanced - I can just see the kids' faces at the lunch table "you're eating that?"
oh and my husband would be mortified if I made him a lunch like that - he eats out daily as it's an opportunity to get to know clients, coworkers, etc.
