Delta gave me a credit so im using it now to go to Boston with DH . We are gonna catch a Red Sox game and if the Celts are still in the playoffs by then (Memorial weekend) maybe catch a game also. Anyone been to Boston ? any tips on where to go eat or visit?

Re: Going to Boston!!!
I visited Boston last year for the first time and LOVED it! I stayed downtown and there were so many things to do. You have to take a Duck tour. It was great and I was able to get the layout of the town pretty quickly. Also learned tons of historical stuff that was interesting.
The mussels, clams, and lobsters are yummy. I had not had any of these before I went there, so my mission was to eat all three. Mission accomplished!
Ahhh! I'm so jealous! I love Boston.
If you can, post on the D&R board, there are a couple nesties from that area, they can probably give you some insider ideas or perhaps even the local board.
Try to hit some of the museums, check out the local antique shops, and eat some great seafood! If you're renting a car I recommend driving over to Salem and visiting The House of the Seven Gables (I think it's near there). You can also check out Glouster (where The Perfect Storm was filmed), they have great whale watching there, but I'm not sure if it's already past the season.
Have fun!
Diana that sounds awesome!! My boss is actually there this week. He is a baseball fan so his wife got him tickets to the Red Sox game tonight as well as the tour and all the other stuff.
I will ask him on Monday about places he went to ... but knowing him, he is more into the bars, and sporty places than museums. Will let you know.
I've heard it is lots of fun!

Yea someone told me about the whale watching so Im going to try and do that too!!! im so excited!!!
Boston is awesome!!!!!
Go to the Bell in Hand Tavern/Pub (can't remember which it is) - it's one of the oldest in the United States supposedly (according to them) and the food was great!!!
Go to the Italian area and visit....I think it's Mike's pastry shop - delicious pastries and they had adorable marzipan treats! Yum!!!!
